The 74th Annual GCV Lily Show, Lions and tigers and bears oh my, was hosted by Fauquier and Loudoun Garden Club on June 15-16, 2016, at Foxcroft School in Middleburg. The show was co-chaired by Lucy Rhame and Elaine Burden and reported 65 horticulture exhibitors with 330 stems and 67 artistic arrangements. Photos

Flower Arranging School was held at the University of Richmond’s Robins Pavilion on September 28, 2016. Featured speaker was Meredith Lauter, The Tuckahoe Garden Club of Westhampton. Photos

The 78th Annual GCV Rose Show, “Romancing the Rose,” was hosted by The Hampton Roads Garden Club on October 5-6, 2016, at the Hampton Roads Convention Center in Hampton. The show was chaired by Kim Cross and Becky Tench. Photos

The 2017 GCV Daffodil Show was hosted by the Huntington Garden Club on April 5-6, 2017 at Hampton Roads Convention Center. The show was co-chaired by Rebecca and Bobo Smith and reported 108 horticulture exhibitors with 1713 stems and 63 artistic arrangements. Photos

The 75th Annual GCV Lily Show, “Let’s Celebrate with Lilies,” was hosted by The Garden Club of the Middle Peninsula on June 21-22, 2017, at Essex High School in Tappahannock. The show was co-chaired by Betty Anne Garrett and Biddie Shelor and reported 54 horticulture exhibitors with 154 stems and 63 artistic arrangements. Photos

Three flower arranging workshops were hosted by the Flower Shows Committee in preparation for 2018 Daffodil Day. Proceeds from the workshops were designated for Daffodil Day expenses.

The inaugural Daffodil Day was hosted by the Garden Club of Virginia on March 27-28, 2018, in Richmond at the Kent-Valentine House and the John Marshall.

The show was chaired by members of the Flower Shows Committee and the Daffodil Committee and reported 67 horticulture exhibitors with 1044 stems, 46 artistic arrangements and 17 photography exhibits. Photos
